According to the IPCC Special Report on Global Warming of 1.5°C - Glossary of Terms, "net zero emissions" means "net zero emissions can be achieved when anthropogenic greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere are offset by anthropogenic removals within a specified period", where "zero carbon emissions" means "net zero emissions". In September 2020, President Xi Jinping proposed at the 75th United Nations General Assembly: "China will strive to peak its carbon dioxide emissions before 2030 and strive to achieve carbon neutrality before 2060". Achieving carbon peak and carbon neutrality is a major strategic decision made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core to coordinate the domestic and international situations. It is an inherent requirement for implementing the new development concept, building a new development pattern, and promoting high-quality development. It is an urgent need to solve the prominent problems of resource and environmental constraints, promote the transformation and upgrading of the economic structure, promote the harmonious coexistence of man and nature, and build a community with a shared future for mankind

It should actively respond to the call of the country and society, follow the principles of energy conservation, cleanliness, recycling, and intelligence, maximize energy conservation and emission reduction, and implement a zero- carbon (near-zero-carbon) development strategy. Therefore, the company has formulated the following zero-carbon emission implementation plan, which aims to improve employees' environmental awareness and energy-saving awareness through a series of measures , reduce the company's energy consumption, achieve the goal of zero-carbon (near-zero-carbon) emissions , establish a good green image for the company , and contribute the company's strength to environmental protection.

1. The company promotes the use of renewable energy

The enterprise makes full use of various passive elements such as natural ventilation, natural lighting and solar radiation.

Energy-saving measures are combined with building envelope energy-saving technologies to reduce energy consumption. In addition, the company has used clean energy through photovoltaic power generation and other methods to gradually reduce its dependence on traditional energy and reduce carbon emissions .

2. The company continues to promote green production

During the production process, the company adopts more environmentally friendly production processes and technologies to reduce the use of fossil energy and reduce carbon emissions during the production process. The company adopts energy-saving technologies such as LED energy-saving lamps and advanced energy-saving equipment, regularly maintains equipment, etc. to reduce energy consumption. The company promotes the concept of circular economy to maximize the use of resources and reduce damage to the environment.

3. The company strengthens pollutant control facilities

The main types of pollutants generated during the operation of an enterprise are as follows: (1) Waste gas: unorganized waste gas; (2) Wastewater: domestic sewage; (3) Noise: noise generated during the operation of equipment; (4) Solid waste: hazardous waste (oil-containing waste, waste packaging barrels), general solid waste (waste packaging bags).

According to the company's on-site conditions, the main pollutants generated by the company are waste gas, waste water, noise and solid waste. Among them, waste gas comes from welding fumes, and a small amount of welding waste gas is discharged in an unorganized manner on a regular basis; the company does not generate production waste water during the production and processing process, but only generates domestic sewage from employees, which is included in the municipal pipe network after pre-treatment in the septic tank; for the treatment of solid waste: the company signs a solid waste treatment agreement with a qualified unit, and general solid waste (waste packaging bags, etc.) is recycled and treated by Zhejiang Ningbo Ningxing Renewable Resources Recycling Co., Ltd., which does not generate secondary pollution, and all processes comply with relevant national regulations; hazardous waste (mainly including oil-containing waste and waste packaging barrels) is entrusted to Ningbo Juxin Environmental Protection Products Co., Ltd. for safe disposal; domestic garbage is promptly cleared and disposed of by the local sanitation department. The comprehensive utilization rate of industrial solid waste reaches 100%. In addition, with regard to hazardous waste management, the Company will carry out the following work: (1) give priority to the use of raw and auxiliary materials and packaging containers that are non-toxic or low-toxic, easily degradable and recyclable; (2) conduct regular inspections of hazardous waste warehouses to ensure that the placement of items in the hazardous waste warehouse and the records meet the requirements; (3) do a good job in collection, storage and transfer to prevent the loss and leakage of hazardous waste, thereby preventing hazardous waste from polluting the environment; (4) continue to explore and research other appropriate hazardous waste reduction measures to further reduce hazardous waste; (5) reduce the amount and harmfulness of hazardous waste from the source by promoting clean production.

4. The company advocates the establishment of a green supply chain

The company advocates the construction of a green supply chain management model and management system. The company has made clear requirements on suppliers' procurement information, including the use of toxic and hazardous substances in the supplied products, the use of recyclable materials, energy efficiency, environmental protection, etc., and regularly evaluates and manages suppliers to ensure that green manufacturing is effectively planned, organized and controlled in all links of the supply chain. Regularly conduct factory inspections and evaluations on suppliers to ensure that they can provide materials that meet the environmental protection requirements of the products, and do a good job of incoming material inspection to ensure that the purchased products meet the specified procurement requirements and related environmental protection requirements. The company hopes to drive the upstream and downstream of the supply chain to continuously improve the efficiency of resource and energy utilization, improve environmental performance, and achieve green development.

5. The company strengthens carbon emission monitoring and management

The company has established a complete carbon emission monitoring system by integrating various energy-consuming modules such as workshops and offices, and conducts real-time monitoring and analysis of the company's carbon emissions. It has also commissioned a third-party agency to complete the annual "Third-Party Greenhouse Gas Emission Verification Report" for the factory, timely discovering problems and taking corresponding measures to achieve energy conservation and consumption reduction, dynamic monitoring of carbon emissions and visual management. At the same time, the company has established a carbon emission accounting system to calculate and manage carbon emissions and promote the reduction of carbon emissions.

6. The company improves the construction of green factory product carbon footprint system

The company provides carbon emission and carbon management training for key production management and technical personnel, reduces the company's carbon emissions through measures such as process technology optimization and equipment improvement, and entrusts a qualified third-party organization to calculate the carbon footprint of the company's products and complete the "Product Carbon Footprint Accounting Report".

7. The company promotes green travel

The company encourages employees to use low-carbon travel methods such as public transportation, cycling, and walking to reduce carbon emissions from car use. At the same time, the company will also promote video conferencing and remote work to reduce business trips; it will provide employee dormitories to reduce commuting requirements and further reduce carbon emissions.

8. The company organizes environmental protection activities

The company organizes employees to participate in tree planting and environmental protection volunteer activities; carries out garbage classification education and practical activities to reduce waste generation; encourages employees to use environmentally friendly materials and products, increase indoor green plants, improve indoor air environment, and enhance social recognition of the company's green image.

IX. The company actively carries out publicity and education work on carbon emission reduction

The company holds zero-carbon emission knowledge lectures, sets up green and low-carbon propaganda columns, produces promotional posters and brochures, and uses various channels to publicize the importance of carbon emission reduction to employees and the public, advocates a low-carbon lifestyle, and guides everyone to participate in carbon emission reduction work and contribute to environmental protection.

10. The company will formulate a reward and punishment mechanism

The company has established an energy conservation and emission reduction reward system to commend employees who have made outstanding achievements in energy conservation and emission reduction; it has introduced assessment indicators for energy consumption and carbon emissions and incorporated them into the performance evaluation system.
